An ApplicationThe arrogance of Ahaziah to send 51 of his men to capture Elijah, twice, after Elijah supernaturally disposed of them is almost unbelievable. The wisdom and boldness of Elijah is again on display when Elijah wasn't recorded as being told he had the authority to assassinate these men, he just did it, but in a way that gave glory to God as much as to himself. What a guy. We don't need to strive to assassinate people but we should strive to demonstrate our faith in amazing ways.
